We are a friendly, sociable club for those who enjoy drinking, talking and learning about wine. We meet most second and fourth Wednesdays of the month from September to June at the Chapter House, St Andrew’s Church, Ampthill at 8.00pm.

The programme consists of a mix of outside speakers, member led evenings and visits to local restaurants. At each session we are introduced to between six and eight wines which follow a theme set by the presenter.

We are delighted that representatives from Cambridge Wine Merchants, Woburn Wine Cellar, Majestic Wines and The Wine Society are regular guest presenters at the club. 

Our recent programme of meetings included the topics of: Portuguese wines, Lidl wine buyers' favourites, Californian wines and a look at ABV.

In recent years we have enjoyed group wine trips to the vineyards of the Medoc, Porto, Tuscany and most recently, Cotes du Rhone.  (Check out our events pages for photos)

New members are always welcome. No knowledge of wine is required just an enjoyment of imbibing. The annual membership fee is £25 plus £9 payable on the night to cover the cost of the wines. Non- members and guests are charged £12 per evening.
